    Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

SENATE BILL 29, as amended

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

     1. Strike Senate Education Committee Amendment 8.

 

     2. On page 9, line 25, after the paragraph designation "(3)", strike the remainder of the line and on page 10, strike line 1 up to the semicolon and insert in lieu thereof "an assurance that the parent will receive written reports on the student's progress at least four times each school year".
